How do I make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner?

The easiest way to submit a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner is by completing our online complaint form(external link). Remember that in most cases where you believe an agency has breached your privacy, it is appropriate for you to first contact the agency and let them resolve the issue or provide an explanation. We may decline to investigate your complaint until you have tried contacting the agency responsible.
